Light Study I
Carved from solid maple, the surface is built from a field of vertical and horizontal lines—precise, consistent, and architectural. Two inset planes break that rhythm, creating a subtle shift in depth and shadow. As light moves across the surface, the piece changes—edges soften, contrast deepens, and the composition reveals itself slowly over time.
Each piece is created in our Woodstock, Georgia studio. Variations in grain, tone, and carving ensure no two are exactly alike.
Designed to live quietly on the wall—equally at home in a gallery setting or a collected interior.
